Life update #3

I had my stitches removed on the 29th of May and it went well.. Although I sadly had gotten an infection in the surgery wound. I’ve been extra susceptible to staphylococcus infections because I had it transmitted to me when I was young and admitted to the hospital for a few months. Ever since, it just wont leave my body completely. Luckily I was able to do a 10 day treatment of antibiotics to keep it at bay for a while so the wound can heal. It’s a slow process though but it’s slowly closing up. It went from 3.7 cm long and 1.7 cm wide on 29th of May and by June 6th it had shrunk to 3.5 and 1.5 cm. At least it’s heading in the right direction!

I’m still not able to work out properly, so I have been spending a lot of time reading.. I guess you can notice that by the influx of book reviews that I have posted. I’ve also spent some time trying to play through my entire Steam library. But yeah, every time I lay down to read, one of my cats comes to lay down right by my head, making it quite difficult to focus.. Especially now that I’ve taken upon myself to read the MaddAddams trilogy that Lisa suggested. Or well, she suggested the second book but I found the trilogy as a pdf file so just reading through that. I like it so far. It’s just long.. Over a thousand pages, but I’ll get there!

What have you been up to lately?

Sounds like you’ve had some bad luck with that infection – but I’m glad to hear that the wound is healing up now. I have noticed a ton of book reviews popping up on my Facebook feed recently by you – this explains it! Also, your cats are so cute. When I had kitties they would curl up on my neck when I’d lay down and act like a scarf. I must adopt some kitties of my own soon…

Bad luck indeed D: I’m just lucky it was just the wound that got infected and not the bones in my leg. Aww that’s so cute! I really hope you’ll be able to adopt some soon! x
